Fans of gaming smartphones will be happy – the new Black Shark 5 Pro is already available on the Chinese market, and soon it should be in the hands of Europeans. Let’s take a look at its specifications, because there is a lot to pay attention to.

The 2022 gaming phone couldn’t do without the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor – it’s a solid unit, supported by 8, 12 or even 16 GB of RAM (LPDDR5 standard).

The Black Shark 5 Pro uses the UFS 3.1 memory and SSD drive combining technology known from the Lenovo Legion Y90 – 256GB of UFS and 256GB of NVMe SSD should help write and read information faster. In addition, the phone can create what’s called a RAM drive to use when needed to access data even faster.

The components are cooled by two vapor chambers with a total area of 5,320 mm² and are powered by a 4,650 mAh battery with an impressive 120W charge. A 100% power recovery is expected to take 15 minutes, while a reasonable percentage can be obtained in a few minutes.

Comfortable gaming is enhanced by manual buttons on the side bezel of the case, as well as a screen that refreshes at 144 Hz. The AMOLED matrix supports HDR10+ resolution, Full HD+, and a 720 Hz refresh rate touchpad.

The cherry on the cake of the specs are the stereo speakers and four microphones, which were highlighted in the DxOMark test – the Black Shark 5 Pro should be the highest performing smartphone on the market. There is also an improved vibrator and a triple camera: 108 megapixels, a 13 megapixel wide-angle and a 5 megapixel macro.
