DJI unveiled a new drone model that features a foldable, lightweight design as well as the ability to record 4K images. The Matrice 30 also boasts a reliable battery.
The DJI Matrice 30 is another piece of equipment from the company that specializes in building drones for professional use – also mainly aimed at businesses and creatives.
The drone is lightweight – only 3.7 kg – and has a special, foldable design that allows you to quickly pack and move the equipment to another place, such as a backpack.
There is also a special battery inside, equipped with a proprietary cooling system that allows 400 charging cycles. The battery, in turn, will allow the drone to fly a maximum of 41 minutes, and a special charging case allows you to charge the battery from 30 to 90% in just 30 minutes.
The drone is available in two versions – the base M30 features a basic 48-megapixel sensor with 16x optical zoom, a 12-megapixel wide-angle lens and a laser rangefinder. This kit allows you to take photos in 8K and record images in 4K and 30 frames per second. The M30T has an optional thermal camera.
The drones also meet IP55 requirements for resistance to heavy rain and strong winds, and among the interesting features is the presence of six sensors for obstacle avoidance or emergency landing system based on three propellers.
