The Core i9-12900KS is the best of Intel’s Alder Lake processors. How does the Core i9-12900K processor compare to it? The answer to this question is given by the results of tests performed on both systems. In the case of the multi-core test there was an 11% performance increase.
The Core i9-12900KS has a 200 MHz increase in core clock speed relative to the S-liter CPU. The test results show that this can lead to a significant performance increase. In case of multi-core test the gain is up to 11%. However, in the case of a single core the power gain is only 4.1%.
The Core i9-12900KS was also compared with AMD’s flagship processor based on the Zen 3 microarchitecture. Intel processor was almost 15% better in tests compared to Ryzen 9 5950x chip. The performance is close to 24-core Ryzen Threadripper 3960x processor.
