There is not much time left before the premiere of OPPO’s first tablet – on February 24 there will be an event dedicated to it and the OPPO Find X5 smartphones.
OPPO Pad will be an attempt to use the renaissance of tablets, which regained popularity during the pandemic – OPPO is not going to miss the chance to enter a new market segment.
Before the premiere, we got a look at the official appearance of the device. No surprises – the OPPO Pad is an elegant tablet with flat symmetrical edges, a USB Type-C port and a cute back panel.
The novelty will have support for the OPPO Pencil stylus, although it is unclear how it will be attached to the body – probably, there will be a magnet on the back, allowing it to remain in constant contact with the tablet. The model itself looks very similar to the realme Pad.
Specifications include a Snapdragon 870 processor, a 10.95-inch high-resolution 2560-by-1600-pixel LCD display, an 8360mAh battery and a 13-megapixel camera on the back. The webcam for video calls will have a basic resolution of 8Mp.
