The social network Twitter has been updated with another interesting option – this time users of this site have been given the opportunity to adjust the playback rate of videos published on this portal.
In recent weeks several interesting news related to the work of the social network Twitter have appeared. Just recently we informed you about global tests of the new “I don’t like it” button, and now it’s time to introduce a new feature that affects the comfort of watching videos.
Users of this portal can already test the ability to change the playback tempo of video and audio recordings. We can choose the speed from 0.25x to 2x.
The ability to adjust the playback tempo appeared on PC (gear icon in the lower right corner of the video window) and Android apps (upper right corner of the screen).
Twitter openly states that the decision to implement this change was accelerated by the introduction of the same features on other video platforms, such as YouTube and Netflix. We can expect iPhone and iPad owners to take advantage of this option once the tests are completed.
