Oppo introduces augmented reality glasses similar to Google Glass (video)

Some time ago, Oppo already introduced the Oppo AR Glass concept. Now the company is gradually bringing the final product to market.

AR Oppo Air Glass glasses will be available in the first quarter of next year, and so far only in China. They will appear as a removable monocular, which will get a silver half-frame or a full black frame. Unfortunately, the device is self-contained, so we can’t attach it to the regular glasses we wear every day, for example.

Oppo Air Glass is supposed to provide a variety of information, such as navigation, text translation, act as a prompter, calendar, weather, or fitness-related wearable devices. Oppo calls this display of information “Auxiliary Reality.” The hardware should run on the Snapdragon Wear 4100 chip. The glasses can be paired with an Oppo phone with the ColorOs 11 shell or newer, as well as an Oppo Watch.
