Another major manufacturer marks its presence in the 2-in-1 hybrid laptop segment with the addition of the VivoBook 13 Slate OLED to the Asus lineup, a model with a 13-inch touchscreen and Windows 11 on board.
Asus’ new hardware is one of the larger models with an attached keyboard, the VivoBook Slate 13 is based on a 13.3-inch OLED screen that displays images in FullHD resolution . The display is fully touch-sensitive and provides up to 550 nits of brightness, covering the entire DCI-P3 color gamut.
At the heart of this model is the Intel Pentium Silver N6000 processor, which is a quad-core processor clocked at up to 3.3 GHz and supported by 4GB or 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM. Depending on the chosen configuration, we can expect 128GB of ROM on eMMC storage or 256GB on SSD drive.
The equipment is equipped with two cameras, a 5 megapixel front and 13 megapixel rear, while the battery capacity is 50Wh, and we can load it up to 60 percent of capacity in 39 minutes. Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth version 5.2 modules are responsible for the connectivity, and multimedia support is provided by four stereo speakers supporting Dolby Atmos technology.
