During the 18th International Conference on Ubiquitous Robots in Gangneung, LG Electronics unveiled a new delivery robot. It was designed for indoor use, but its capabilities were later expanded to include outdoor applications.
The robot has four steerable wheels. It has different modes of movement. Among them is one that adjusts the robot to uneven surfaces or obstacles.
This year, LG Electronics plans to conduct more thorough tests of the new robot. This will be preceded by preliminary testing. The robot should make logistics easier and relieve people from delivering goods.
